Recent Changes...

What’s Been Happening in Jan ’08?

We’ve working on improving our system. There have been many many changes, so many that it can make you head swing. We’ve spent a considerable amount of time and money improving our service and building onto it.

Let’s see what we’ve done this month (the abridged version):

• We’ve added some better quality control scripts, which will allow all users to have fair rights on the servers, instead of as before where one user could easily abuse the system and hurt the rest of you.

• We’ve worked on improving the performance of the servers by lowering the file count on all the servers by setting up cleanup scripts that will remove unneeded files left by Linux.

• We’ve completed the standardization process where the critical network and software settings are all the same across all our servers. This allows us to move customers between any server on the network as necessary. What this means is that we can run our system far more efficiency, meaning better performance for everyone.


• We’ve noticed an upward trend in the domain market, where more users are adding extra domains to their Tera-Host and VPS-Rage accounts – this means more folks are going to be having more then a single site – great news!

As you can see it may not look like much. However, we’ve done quite a bit more behind the scenes – just can’t quite talk about it yet. However, we hope to be ready to reveal everything to you in the next issue of this newsletter, so stay tuned!
