What’s new this month at HostICan?

We’re not sure where to start. As you can imagine that being late (by about a month) on the newsletter is a clear indication that we’ve been very busy. As a result, we’re issuing one combined issue. We should be back to a normal schedule next month.

What’s new at HostICan is a very good question. Remember we told you about our blog? When it had that ugly skin on it? Well, after quite a few rounds of mods, then some integration and CSS updates, we finally got there! Believe it or not it took about five weeks of work to get to how it should be (still a few minor tweaks here and there), but it’s pretty decent now.

In terms of growth, we’ve added a new VPS product line that has proven to be a huge success. We’ve even officially partnered with cPanel.net as a direct authorized vendor. Most companies do this in two to four months. We’ve managed to get this accomplished in one.

On another note, we’ve been working closely with ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers) on new IP space, so hopefully in the upcoming week we’ll have some new ranges to offer!! This should be exciting and give the ability to order more dedicated IP numbers for your sites.

We are expanding so fast that our old merchant processing service couldn’t handle the workload. So we had to switch to a firm more able to handle our rapidly growing business model. So this naturally took weeks to do, but we did it.

That’s just some of the stuff that has been going on here at (HIC), we’ve got lots more in the pipeline…

What’s coming up?

Well, that’s hard to say. However, by the looks of growth, we’ll be expanding our footprint at our datacenter. I would imagine if we had to itemize it would be something like this:

• Increased network connectivity.
• Sign Partnership Agreement with SwSoft.com (this will mean that we can provide more VPS’s faster)
• More new shiny servers to handle our new customers.
• etc.
